As we enter a new year, we are now getting into really understanding the different dimensions of sustainability. But, how many of us really understand sustainability. Yes, we see all those posters that tell you about energy efficient products. We try and be green by recycling objects. But, how much do we really know about what is going on? And more importantly, how do we believe the partial truths without fully understand the implications of our actions?
Our first assignment of the year is to tackle this very problem. We were asked to pick ONE idea, product or process that is supposedly sustainable and analyze it. I decided to go understand the process of recycling. On doing further research, I found gaps in the process of recycling- especially in the recycled paper industry.
In an effort to try and educate the world with the issues concerned with paper recycling I am proposing a product that will help elucidate some grave issues with the industry.
So, I bring to you :
100 % recyclable, 100% re-usable and 000% useful.
Problem: Recycling paper is an expensive myth no one really understands. Making recyclable paper adds more to the problem than hoarding up landfills with waste. So if you are looking for an innovative solution- look no further cause we have a product that will revolutionize your writing experience.
Solution: Look no further if you are looking for the most re-usable and reduced use product in the whole world. We present to you a product that not only helps you absorb knowledge are you draw or sketch in it, but absorbs all of that itself as well. We present to you Zorbskine – a product by Moleskine.
Target Audience: Are you architects, artists and designers tired of buying new sketchbooks every time the old one runs out? Want a book that is a single time investment? Here’s presenting 100% self cleansing, 100% recyclable and 000% useful – Zorbskine.
Competition: Battling companies like Spongmore and Scrubberhand, Zorbskine is the only product in the market that allows your trash to be completely paper free. The technology is pending patent approval but has already received over a thousand order prior to launch in April 2016.

The design team consists of several chemical engineers graduated from middle school from over one prestigious institution in central America.. The manufacturing of the projects provides employment to over 1000 villages in India. The packaging and shipping of the products is handled by people in west Africa. We take pride in benefiting zero local communities and over zilch local businesses.
Bonus Component: The company has also come up with another radical product to sell along with its books. For every book that you purchase, you will also receive with it, a highly engineered pen – ZORBPEN. The pen allows you to write in any book without leaving any trace information behind.
So come on, go purchase your very own Zorbskine.
